Senior QA Automation Engineer · Quality Engineering
I build release confidence into digital products.
I help engineering teams ship reliable web, mobile, API, and microservices-based products by combining risk-led quality strategy with scalable automation and faster feedback. Currently at Productera LLC, working remotely from Accra, Ghana.
Selected work
Problems solved, not tasks listed.
Quality-engineering decisions across cloud-native automation, mobile platforms, APIs, and delivery systems. Each case is framed around the constraint and where the suite landed.
Cloud-native automation
Running backend tests as Kubernetes Jobs on EKS
The backend suite needed the same network and identity as the service under test, which the CI runner could not give it.
Automation architecture
Turning an ignored E2E suite back into a deploy gate
The end-to-end suite was red often enough that the team had quietly stopped believing it, so a real failure looked the same as the usual noise.
Mobile quality at scale
Quality coverage for a mobile SDK at 200M+ user scale
An SDK embedded in other companies' apps has no safe place to fail, and integration risk, device behavior, and API reliability all meet in it.
My quality approach
Quality is a system, not a final checkpoint.
The best test is the one that creates a useful signal at the right moment, for the right risk.
Map users, architecture, failure costs, and product priorities before choosing tools or test layers.
Put dependable checks close to the change through focused UI, API, mobile, and CI coverage.
Use failures, production signals, and team learning to make both the product and the delivery process stronger.
Capability map
Broad enough for the system. Deep where it matters.
Tools are selected in service of risk, maintainability, and the feedback a team actually needs.
Maintainable frontend test systems built around the product, team, and release workflow.
Service, integration, business-rule, and persistence coverage designed for fast diagnosis.
Native, hybrid, and mobile-web coverage across iOS and Android ecosystems.
Workload design and bottleneck discovery across interfaces and services.
Quality feedback integrated into CI/CD and cloud-native delivery environments.
Risk planning, AI-assisted scenario design, mentoring, reporting, and release alignment.
Proof, not claims
A suite you can click through.
A public demo repository with a real Playwright suite, covering TodoMVC across four browsers and a REST API contract. The HTML report is published straight from CI on every run, with a trace attached to every test, so it stays current instead of being a screenshot. Testing work is usually invisible. This makes it something you can click through.
Experience
Nine years of building confidence.
Expanding automated regression across UI, API, and microservices; integrating Playwright and API checks into GitHub Actions; and testing cloud-native systems in Kubernetes environments.
Led QA planning, mentored five QA engineers, and strengthened mobile SDK, API, and Playwright coverage for products serving more than 200 million monthly active users.
Led web, mobile, API, and performance quality for bi-weekly releases and partner integrations.
Built a Java Selenium framework from the ground up and mentored QA automation engineers.
Developed the foundation across test planning, Cypress UI automation, API validation, deployment testing, defect management, and release verification.
